Class Luncheon: The Keyser High School Class of 1969 is having a luncheon on Tuesday, May 23, at 11:30 a.m. at Port West in Westernport. All classmates and friends are invited.
Reunion Planning Meeting: The Keyser High School Swingin’ ‘60s is having a meeting to discuss organizing a reunion this year. If you are interested in helping to plan this reunion, a meeting will be held Tuesday, May 23, at 5 p.m. at the Keyser Moose Lodge.

Fund Raiser: A benefit fund raiser for Donna Twigg Gray will be held Friday, May 26, from 8-11 p.m. at the Keyser Moose Lodge, 570 S. Mineral St., Keyser. Wear pink in support of Gray, a Stage 3 breast cancer patient, and her family. Dancing, food, drinks, raffles, a silent auction, etc., with music being donated by Everline DJing and Entertainment. Must be at least 21 with valid ID to attend.

Alumni Banquet: The St. Peter’s Alumni Banquet will be held Saturday, May 27, at 6 p.m. at the Polish Pines Golf Course, Keyser. Speaker: Dave Ellis, Class of 1962. Tickets $24 by calling Mary A. Mertz, 301-359-0402 no later than May 10. All alumni, former students and friends welcome to attend.

Class Reunion: The Ridgeley High School Class of 1963 will hold its 60th reunion with a picnic from 1-6 p.m. Saturday, June 3, at the home of Beth Dersin-Barnes in Fort Ashby. For more information, call 304-738-0471.
Run/Walk for Recovery and Foster Care: Run 4 Hope 5K Run and 2-Mile Walk will be held Saturday, June 3, beginning at 8:30 a.m. for the run and 10:30 a.m. for the walk. Route is along New Creek in Keyser. Registration is $30 and deadline to register is June 2. Sponsored by Burlington United Methodist Family Services.
Duck Race: Aging & Family Services will host the Great Duck Race Saturday, June 3, at 1 p.m. on New Creek. Ducks are $10 each, three for $25, eight for $50, or 18 for $100 and may be purchased at any of the county’s senior centers. Prizes: $100 for third place, $250 for second place and $1,000 for first. Proceeds benefit Aging & Family Services.
Strawberry Festival: Keyser’s annual Strawberry Festival will be held Saturday, June 3, beginning at 10 a.m. in downtown Keyser. Vendors, food, bouncy houses, pageant, live entertainment and more. Splash Into Summer: Fountain Gospel Chapel, 27 Liller Lane, Keyser, will sponsor a free event of fun, food and games Saturday, June 3, from noon to 3 p.m. Obstacle course, human ring toss,water balloon baseball, dunking booth, corn hole, sack race and more. Free. Everyone welcome.

Summer Reading Kick-Off: The Fort Ashby library will kick off its Summer Reading Program with a party on Tuesday, June 6, from 5-7 p.m. at the Mineral County Fairgrounds. DJ, bouncy house, food, balloon twisting, face painting and more. Theme: “All Together Now.”

Summer Party: Mineral County Parks and Recreation will host a Summer Party Saturday, June 17, beginning at 11:30 a.m. at Shaw Beach, Jennings Randolph Lake. Bounce houses, activities for kids, food by B-Rad’s. Free entry.
Saturday, June 24
Block Party: Westernport Church of the Brethren, 200 Oakview Dr., will host a free block party Saturday, June 24, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Food, games, water bounce house, fire pit, goodies, music and more. Everyone welcome.
