ST. MARYS, W. Va. (WV News) – The annual Battle Against Cystic Fibrosis Ohio-West Virginia Football Classic will be played June 2 at Bill Hanlin Stadium on the campus of St. Marys High School.
The game features senior football standouts primarily from Mid-Ohio Valley schools.
The West Virginia squad will feature one Ripley Viking and one Ravenswood Red Devil standout from the football season of 2022.
Hunter Brown, a 5-10, 180-pound running back/linebacker, will represent Ripley in the game.
Brown was also a standout wrestler at Ripley.
Jaden Sayre is Ravenswood’s representative. Sayre is listed as an offensive lineman and linebacker on the West Virginia roster.
Sayre, 5-9, 153, will play at the next level for Hocking College in Nelsonville, Ohio.
The West Virginia team will be guided by Doddridge County’s Bobby Burnside.
