OAKLAND — A drug arrest has been reported by Garrett County Sheriff Bryson Meyers.
According to the report, on May 14, deputies stopped a vehicle along Maryland Highway for traffic violations, and during the course of the traffic stop, deputies observed drug paraphernalia in plain view.
A subsequent search of the vehicle and occupants revealed a quantity of methamphetamine, fentanyl and paraphernalia, according to police.
A passenger in the vehicle, Adam Patrick Vance, 37, was arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of fentanyl and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Vance was transported to the Garrett County Detention Center, where he was later released on his own recognizance after appearing before a District Court Commissioner.
