GALLIPOLIS, Ohio (WV News) — Amy DiSantis of Zack and Scottys restaurant has announced a fundraiser for local resident Addison Glassburn is underway, with a raffle scheduled for 3 p.m. April 23 via the restaurant’s Facebook Live.
Glassburn has been diagnosed with Stage 3 Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. Her family are longtime Gallia County residents.
“Addi has such a big heart, and cares so deeply for others. She lost her beautiful mother Jane to cancer two years ago, and Addi has remained so strong,” DiSantis said.
Raffle tickets for the fundraiser are $1 and can be purchased at the restaurant at 300 Second Avenue in downtown Gallipolis, or through Venmo or CashApp.
DiSantis says the fundraising goal is $10,000, and that there is over $30,000 of value in the donated prizes, which include a Jack Daniels magazine table, a Tennessee whiskey barrel and over 100 gift cards.
“The Glassburns are the first to step up and help when there is a need in our community,” DiSantis said.
