CLARKSBURG, W.Va. (WV News) — Pierpont Community & Technical College celebrated the achievement of about 150 graduating students Friday evening with a commencement ceremony at the Robinson Grand Performing Arts Center.

The ceremony was highlighted by a keynote speech given by Pierpont Interim President Dr. Kathleen Nelson, who will be leaving the college at the end of June. Nelson spoke to the graduates about changes in their lives, and how earning their diplomas marks the next chapter in their ever-evolving journey.
