BUCKHANNON, W.Va. (WV News) — Tiara Nicole Howard, age 34, of French Creek, took her place among the angels on Saturday, May 13, 2023.
She was born on March 17, 1989, in Buckhannon, WV.
She was a loving mother to Kendall Brooke and a precious daughter to her mother Joni Kay Nelson Howard and her father Ronnie Howard, who both survive.
Also surviving are her paternal grandmother Janet L. Howard; maternal grandmother Kay Nelson Hudgins; special loving aunt Susan Meeks; her partner in life Jason Brown; and many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins, along with her adored four-legged babies Rocco and Lexi.
Tiara was preceded in death by her sister Ciara Brooke Howard and grandparents: Roscoe “Buck” Nelson, C. Earl Howard, and Fred Hudgins.
She and her sister are undoubtedly reunited in Heaven and most likely surrounded by all the sweet dogs they have rescued, loved, and lost over the years.
Tiara was a 2007 graduate of B-U High and a 2011 graduate of WV Wesleyan College. Entrepreneurialism and hard work were instilled in her from a very young age as she grew up helping in her mom’s convenience store, riding and navigating the roads across country with her dad in his eighteen-wheeler and working in her mom’s real estate business, earning her real estate license at the age of 18.
Her family was the center of her life. She had a true spirit of adventure as she spent her childhood skiing the mountains of Canaan Valley and roaming the hills of West Virginia on her four-wheeler, knowing all the best trails and back roads of Upshur County by heart.
Her love of classic country music accompanied her in all her journeys.
She made friends everywhere she went and never left anyone’s heart untouched by her unwavering compassion for all those she met along the way.
Tiara will be remembered more than anything for her kind heart and humility. She was quick to do for others without expectation of anything in return. Though her time on earth was too short, she was a gift to all who knew her. She was a cherished daughter, mother, granddaughter, niece, cousin, and friend to so many.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, May 21, 2023, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m., at the Heavner and Cutright Funeral Chapel. Private graveside services and interment will be held at the French Creek Memorial Gardens. Online condolences may be extended to the family at www.heavnerandcutright.com
The family entrusted the Heavner & Cutright Funeral Chapel with the arrangements.
