SALEM, W.Va. (WV News) — Oral Eugene Davis, 76, of Hog Hollow, Salem, departed this life on Friday, May 19, 2023, at Select Specialty at Mon General Hospital, Morgantown. He was born on September 20, 1946, at Industrial, a son of the late Oral Blaine and Pauline Virginia Hayes Davis.
On August 29, 1968, he married Kay Deanna Seckman Davis, who survives.
Also surviving are one son, Brian Davis, West Union; two grandchildren, Kayla Mae Pilley and Kara Jane Pilley; and four great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Deanna Michelle Davis.
Mr. Davis graduated from Salem High School and obtained a BA degree in Electrical Engineering. He had been employed as an electrician at Fourco Glass, Northrop Grumman and retired from Aurora Flight Sciences.
Oral was an Army veteran, serving during the Vietnam Conflict. He enjoyed hunting all wild game.
Oral was a loving husband, father and grandfather and will be sadly missed by his family and friends.
At his request, he was cremated and there will be no services. Expressions of sympathy may be extended to the family at www.harbertfuneralhome.com.
