Tuesday night in PNC Arena, the NC State men’s basketball team fell just short of No. 3 Virginia, dropping a 66-65 heartbreaker in overtime after fighting back from a 14-point deficit.
CHARLOTTE -- In a rematch of the NC State men’s basketball team’s heartbreaking 66-65 overtime home loss to Virginia in late January, the eighth-seeded Wolfpack (21-10, 9-9 ACC) will get a chance at revenge.
NC State graduate forward Wyatt Walker will not return next season; the team confirmed Thursday that he will forgo his final season of college eligibility and exit the program.
