NC State softball took on another non-conference opponent this weekend with a doubleheader against Presbyterian in Raleigh.

NC State softball pulled off an upset over No. 23 South Carolina, blanking the Gamecocks thanks to a strong performance by Madison Inscoe.

NC State softball cruised past George Mason in five innings, fueled by three home runs. Ellie Goins hit two of the Wolfpack's home runs in a strong performance.

NC State softball had a rough go of it in its 2024 season opener. The Wolfpack was shutout in its doubleheader, losing 2-0 to Iowa and falling 13-0 to Missouri.
