NC State men's soccer was able to get into the win column by clearly handling business against Gardner-Webb, winning 3-1. 

NC State softball completed its series sweep of Gardner-Webb on Sunday, Feb. 28 with an 8-0 win.

NC State softball won both games of its Saturday doubleheader by a combined score of 13-0 to improve to 7-2 on the season.

The NC State Wolfpack collected six walks and seven hits, including four doubles, in just five innings of play, defeating the Big South preseason favorite Gardner-Webb Runnin’ Bulldogs 4-1.

NC State softball had a huge 4-2 weekend to start ACC play, and while Gardner-Webb has yet to play a game in 2021, it did put up a 24-5 record last year.

As everyone welcomes a new year, the NC State wrestling team looks to begin its dual season and defend its ACC Championship title. The season kickoff takes the Wolfpack to Gardner-Webb University on Sunday, Jan. 3 at 1 p.m.

NC State wrestling is back in action at the beginning of January with motivation to finish what it wasn't able to last year. The team hopes to run the table as it did last year with a 15-0 record.

NC State softball (15-11, 3-5 ACC) went 1-2 in its weekend series against Georgia Tech (16-9, 5-1 ACC) at Shirley Clements Mewborn Field in Atlanta, Georgia.
