Bridgeport City Council reviewed a master plan of a $4 million project that would provide major improvements to the area around the Benedum Civic Center downtown. The work will eventually include a pool replacement, although that phase has not been factored in yet. It will also include development of land at Hinkle Deegan Lake for sports courts.
